Wyatt & Morgan

Wyatt & Morgan are stunning black Percherons aged 12 and 11 standing at 17 ½ hands. We rescued the bonded brothers from the kill pen in January 2021. From what we know, they were used on the farm and to pull a sleigh in the winter.

Wyatt is in good health and is clearly the stronger of the two taking the lead into the field and barn. He is funny, loved to play with Denny, and is all about food! He is the talker of the two letting you know he is ready for every meal, especially when looking for his brother.

Morgan is a lovebug and enjoys his face rubbed. He has severe nerve damage to his hips, neck, and right front leg. After a few vet and physical therapist visits, we are treating him with exercise, muscle strength, and some new-age holistic therapies in the hopes of improving his condition.

We call the brothers “our boys” and enjoy taking selfies with them in the field! There is nothing like seeing a draft horse team for the first time! These bonded brothers are inseparable and stunning to watch run across the field together, eat out of the same bucket (by choice), and clean each other constantly. They even holler if they are not within eyesight of each other. We couldn’t be happier to have these two beautiful black drafts in the herd. They bring joy every time we rub their coats and cheeks.
